1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching Practitioner Training
The 1-2-3 Magic™ & Emotion Coaching course is based on two underlying perspectives on parenting: first, children can be taught to respond more flexibly when they are frustrated or upset. Second, parents and carers can be taught easy-to-use skills they can use at particular parenting moments. As a practitioner, this course will provide you with the knowledge to conduct the 1-2-3 Magic™ & Emotion Coaching program - either as a three (two-hour) session parent education course or to teach the program one-on-one within a few clinical treatment sessions. You will leave with a comprehensive training manual with session-by-session guidelines and a CD slideshow to aid your presentation.
Please note that 1-2-3 Magic™ & Emotion coaching has been endorsed by the Australian Psychological Society for 7 generalist professional development points.
Engaging Adolescents™The structure of this course provides parents with a model for working out what behaviour needs to be ignored, how to coach teenagers to consider the consequences of their actions and to hold difficult conversations when agreements are breached. A practical ' how-to ' guide for parents.

The registration fee is $320 if paid by the early-bird date (3 weeks before the course) or $399 after that date.
